Leave a Legacy … $500

This work is a representation of how we as individuals have an impact on others. How the many aspects of our person is both knowingly and unknowingly passed on to others. Perhaps it’s how we talk, what we wear, or more importantly what we believe and how we act. Whether it’s at home with family, at work with co-workers, or just out and about with friends and even strangers. We have the ability to leave a legacy of our life through the impact we have on the lives of others. It’s up to us to decide the quality of that legacy.

This work is approximately 24” by 66” and each piece was constructed by hand from a white earthenware clay body. It was bisque fired to cone 04 (1945 degrees F), then glazed with three coats of low temperature glazes and traditionally glaze fired to cone 06 (1828 degrees).

Here are some “in progress” photos as I was working on its design through completion.
